Had been intending to go to cartesiandaemon's party tonight, but my knee seems to have different ideas. It's been a bit a bit temperamental for a few weeks now, on and off (NB: started playing up before I got hit by that car, so it's not caused by that) - I think I hyperextended it or something. And today it has decided to be stiff and sore and annoying so I'm walking around with an interesting limp. So probably best if I don't start travelling round Cambridge tonight, alas.

Plus, admittedly, I'm just having one of those lack-of-social energy things, probably caused by social overdose on Thursday (I had to pretend to have decorum and not actually bounce at the sight of all those choccy biccies, cos I get the impression Clever Boffin Scientists aren't meant to jump up and down squeeing).

So sorry, people at party - I hope you all have a lovely time. I think I'll stay in with a nice stirfry and a glass of lemonade. :)

Perhaps we can convince the Army to bring Cliff back from Iraq on a medical emergency to have a look at it :P

Aah, I'm only limping cos it's been too stiff to straighten as fast as my other leg goes! Should probably be OK in a day or two.

Hee! I'm glad! It seems generally better today - still vaguely annoying and sore, but I simply had to go shopping and it didn't mind that too much.
