Quick life update.

Yay! The new Master of our college is:

So general yay!

I don't think I'll do that 10 things meme, as it will probably make people paranoid! Well, I might do it offline as a form of therapy... I do that anyway, though. My drafts folder is full of e-mails I will never send where I just rant at people.

Last day of bees today. We have SO much data! It was cool. The bees are really starting to get the hang of doing work now, and are even using their brains a bit. I worked a bit late today as Green All Over Bee¹ decided to take as long as possible to make her last 3 choices. And when you have a bee so close to being finished, you don't want to stop until you have a complete data set, in case you come in the next day and find it's died overnight (it happens).

By the way, what does it mean in the UK when you phone someone and get a noise that sounds a bit like: Boo-bee-BEE!

¹We had so many bees on the go that I decided to one in polka dot, to make it distinctive. But it tried to rub the paint off, so just ended up kind of green all over. It's a REALLY good bee though. Very clever - got 10/10 on her first trial thingy.

Yes, it could. That would count as "number doesn't exist". It might just be a temporary fault though.

She's also known in the department for being a witch queen (think Professor McGonagall) and has some slightly funny ideas (apparently when the new biochemistry building was built she insisted on changing the layout so you didn't have to walk past the men's loos to get to the women's).

On the other hand, I think she's really cool in an odd sort of way. And she's a good lecturer.

I'm out of practice at being paranoid! I only disagree with most people out of stubborness rather than suspecting them of being evil manipulative swine. Not sure what that says about you and the meme. I don't even know what it is.

Apparently, it is an amazing therapeutic experience, but I would be too afraid of having half my friends list deciding it's them and getting all upset/angry with me!

What a cute little bee! SO smart she rubbed the polkadots into green all over! I'm sure she felt she didn't look good in polkadots! :-D

As for the meme, you can also say things about people in your RL, people who would never see your LJ. Or you could post those things that were nice, and let people guess among those. :-D

Maybe Faffin wants to do the meme? ;-D

LOL I have far too many RL friends on my LJ for that to be in any way a reliable plan!! (About 60% of my Flist consists of people I know in real life!)

I guess I could just say nice things, but in general I like to say nice things anyway, somewhere down the line! *hugs* Like, I think you're really awesome! :)
