So there I was - quarter to one and struck by a desire to be not-inside (partly the rather oppressive heat of this evening). So I went for a pleasant, short walk and on Silver Street found myself wanting to run. Just...run. So I stuck out my little arms, smiled and ran down Silver Street, smiling and looking utterly happy.

So if there's a CCTV camera on Silver Street and my odd behaviour makes it on to national TV, that's why! *grins*

It made me feel happy. And was fun.

I feel that way often. I think, in my case, it's due to impatience. Walking takes so long, and sometimes I just want to get somewhere faster. Also, I tend to fast-walk a lot, and running is a lot less strenuous on my legs. I don't do it very often, but sometimes I just give in and run. You'd think people had never seen someone running before.
