I've got a new favourite TV program (well, apart from House, which is so good there cannot be any comparison)!!

I just turned on the TV over dinner and found Never Mind The Full Stops, which is AMAZING!!! It's like...a gameshow for the most anally retentive beta readers. So geeky and nitpicky, lots of whinging about abuse of English. I was in heaven.

I hope they keep showing it...

Isn't it brilliant?! The first time I saw a trailer for it, I thought someone must have read my mind...it was a montage of awful apostrophes on shop signs :)

BBC4 and the last in the series is on today (i.e. Thursday) at 10:30pm. Meep! So unfair that it's ending just as soon as I discover it!!

I've been watching it. I don't really like the Julian Fellowes (is that his name? Whoever the host is) guy because he's rather too dismissive of forms of English other than Standard English spoken in the BBC accent. But the panelists are good, and I do like the sections! Like the one a few weeks back when you had to think of a word derived from Anglo-Saxon and match it to the more Latiny synonym.

I discovered that show the other night too! It's so good, isn't it? It's like they're catering for the whole readership of 'Eats Shoots and Leaves'. ;)
