Oh, life just isn't the same without some excitement...

My return flight has been cancelled. On the plus side, being nice to the Easyjet people seems to work, and I've got on another flight tomorrow morning, and have managed to rebook my coach tickets to get me home for 9:30pm or something tomorrow. So it's bad but not that bad.

And hey, I can't complain about spending another night with erestor, nellasofdoriath and tuxedo_elf, and king_thran is around too. Hooray! So apart from Erestor having me on her sofa another night and having to get up at 6am tomorrow, it's all worked out.

Minicon was absolutely truly fantastic, I've met some truly amazing people who I really look forward to having on my friends list. *hugs you all* I've really really enjoyed myself.

In conclusion: yay!

It was indeed fantastic, and I'll write an entry of my own once I'm a bit more awake. 'till then, I'll just randomly run around and friend everybody who was there. Like you. ;)

Well, it meant I got another evening at Erestor's, plus we feasted on pizza, which I can't complain about, and ended up at Tux's hotel for drinks. All in all, a few more hours, but a few more hours of fun and just lovely relaxed, friendly conversation.

Thanks! Trip home was basically fine - a small delay in the plane, and I wouldn't normally choose a 5 hour coach ride with no loo stops, but I got there in the end, and parents had dinner waiting for me!

Eek! This, presumably, is what flying to airports with actual planes (mine has, oh, about three per day) does for you. Mine was just an hour late.

Luton Airport is a bit stressed out at the moment, I think. On the other hand, Basel-Mulhouse was totally chilled out and really not busy at all!

Yeah - it could have been a real disaster, but really worked out fairly well. Typically, Fluke decided she needed feeding 30 minutes before my alarm went off - how typical!!

That's good! It went OK for me too - a half hour delay or so because of the slow turn around times at Luton at the moment, but what's 30 minutes in the grand scheme of things? I'd booked the coach home to give me plenty of time for such eventualities, so I was still able to eat a decent lunch before catching the coach into London.

I did indeed get home safely, a little tired but basically none the worse for wear. A good night's sleep and a yummy dinner, and I'm all ready for a trip away with mum at the weekend!
