Two Things
31 August 2006 14:081. One Tuesday night, I was looking for white rice (parents had lots of brown/basmati - I wanted boring easycook because I wanted to make my dinner in 10 minutes not 25) and came across snowflakes/flaked rice. The packaging looked a little dated so I peered at the Best Before Date.
June 1996.
I'm attempting to get photo evidence but it's hard to get the light right to show the stamp.
In any case, I'm a student. So I made snowflake pudding from this 10 year old ingredient (it looked fine, no dark/crawling bits) and ate it. And jolly nice it was too.
2. My brother walked into the living room in his boxer shorts today. He has almost-a-six pack.
I am scared. Wie die Zeit vergeht!

Date: 31 Aug 2006 18:17 (UTC)Yeah, sure! Add away - I'll add you back. Waaaah that I'm not at Cambridge any more...yay you for being an ex-Cambridge plantsci type (if your info is anything to go off!). Also...OMG you actually ate frogspawn? Suddenly eating 10 year old flaked rice in a pudding seems not at all radical.
