enismirdalThat was actually fairly long and hard. Hehe, fun though.
Riding was fun. Was meant to be on a pony called Daisy, who I'd never seen before, but she was really unfit and had already been used in a lesson, so they persuaded me to take Dusty instead. Dusty is a very sweet, willing pony, and a gorgeous apricot dun colour, but she is very...pony-ish. I never know with these ponies if I'm riding them well or not cos they feel the same whatever! We had something of a disagreement about cantering - she thought the way to do it was to rush into it, charge round as fast as possible and stop when she could see the back of the ride again. I thought she should go into it with lots of power but less speed, go at a sensible pace all the way round and stop when I asked. Eventually, I seemed to win.
Tomorrow is packing day of doom. Oh well, at least I don't need to do it again until June after that!
