enismirdalIt occured to me that some of you friended me expecting Elf pr0n, so I ought to do a wee post bringing those people up to speed on what sort of Elf pr0n I have on the go atm. Also, it reminds my betas what they're sitting on. *grin*
The ones I'm listing are ones I've decided are "high priority" in terms of posting. About 50% of what I'm writing at the moment will never go online, because it makes no sense, is full of clichés that I enjoy writing but would never inflict on you guys, and pair characters from polar opposite fandoms just cos I want to see them together, without bothering to try and make it logical. And probably a further 30% of my writing includes fics that only get updated with a few lines every 6 months!
The Fey and The Fallen - this is my number one posting priority. It's currently with one of my betas and I'm waiting to hear back. Maedhros/Maglor, about 35 pages.
Sanctuary of Sin - a naughty little BDSM fic that recently decided it wanted to be 10 pages or so longer than I planned, so will probably end up at about 30 pages. Artaher (OMC)/Maglor. Not complete, but getting there.
All I Have Left - my twinsfic. 2 more chapters are currently with beta. They're likely to need work. This fic is still in progress but is creeping towards its conclusion. Likely to stand at 70 pages or so by the end, I think.
Nameless fic - this is my newest project. Won't be a long fic, but might take a long time. A fic that's intended to be sweet and fluffy, with little Glorfindel and little Ecthelion getting into trouble.
Fic that was called The Noblest Sacrifice, but I hate the title so much I'm going to change it - this was finished, the I realised it was so direly bad it needed rewriting. It's now nearing Completion Take Two, this time with less of the syrupy brain-burning cliché. Tux assures me that is does have some potential, so I'm not scrapping it. Unfortunately rewriting always make me scared sooner or later.
In other news, I think I'll be at Kew when my crush is holding a meeting for first year PhD students, with lots of useful tips... *cries*

Ah, that'd be the confusion. I don't really have a side in the slash/het war... but I think if you wrote something original it'd be really good :)

Date: 10 Oct 2006 09:12 (UTC)Sometimes if people browse LJ from work, I believe certain companies' internet filters ban sites that put Naughty Words in their text, so if someone was just skimming their friends page from work it might activate the filters. Having said that, enough people cuss on LJ that it tends to be blocked anyway under such circumstances.
LJ itself permits pretty much anything legal.
