enismirdalI thought I'd share some random piccies. Malcolm the Christmas Aphid, and other silly things.
This is Malcolm the Christmas Aphid. His existence is all the fault of a postdoc in my lab who works with aphids and was pressed into doing a fun run. We all persuaded him to go dressed as a Christmas Aphid (and he did!). Since then...well, to me, aphids have been THE festive symbol.
And this is the local crèche. Well, actually, it's our kitchen window.
Finally, a pretty sunset from the other day. Fire over London, but this time the city is not burning :)
Oh, yeah, tomorrow I go back to parents' house for Christmas. This means I may, in fact, be pingable on Y!M when I arrive there!
Mum was on phone earlier and seems incredibly excited about having me "home" (not really home for me any more - but I still know where the teaspoons are, so it's not quite unhome either!). I'm looking forward to seeing her and my dad too. And even the Enibrother. It'll be fun to hear him chatting on about Cambridge and stuff.
