enismirdalLuckily I was near a coffee shop at the time.
Unfortunately coffee shop has stopped selling their amazing range of chai lattes. And their meat-panini-grill was broken so I was only allowed vegematarian paninis that could go on the meatfree-panini-grill. But oh well, I got to sit in the dry while the rain fell on everyone else.
Then I went back to the lab, and on the way I saw a small and soggy wasp worker, so I scooped her up on my college ID card and brought her back to the lab. Reviving her with sugar solution and bringing her out of the rain worked wonders, and after snuggling on my fingers for a bit, she took off and flew around the lab. Not sure where she went after that - I guess she found a way out and back home. She was cute and very gentle. And further convinced me that wasps are perfectly nice if you're nice to them.

Number of properties seen: 4.5 (plus 1 seen by flatmate's boyfriend while I was working)
Number of properties liked: 2
Number of properties acquired: 0
There is still time... 3 more booked for tomorrow, of which one is in a silly place but the others may be good.
