Just as a PSA - I'm not doing paper holiday cards this year.

See, I've been on a bit of a crazy charity kick lately and it seems to me that rather than buy a pack of cards and pay to mail them all to myriad locations worldwide, it would make sense for me to send e-cards to everyone and then donate the amount of money I save to some worthy charity that I have yet to select.

I think this is what I'll be doing - it also happens to eliminate the need for me to be super-organised, so that's an added bonus. Please don't be offended; this is all just my Eni-logic at work, a personal decision!

If anyone else was considering sending me a card and wants to do the same, that's fine by me. Or if you would prefer to send me a physical card, that's fine by me too, but please remember I moved house in September so you may not have my new address!

I totally agree with Eni-logic and the decision you made. It's actually a very good idea, even though I personally will (hopefully) be sending out paper cards again this year...
And I know you moved house! Which brings me to this post I made and which Miss Eni hasn't replied to yet. ;)

Great idea. Two years ago my side of the family (my side, not Steve's side, so not Tuxie's side)decided we were just exchanging bottles so decided to do something as a family instead. We had a secret Santa (so we all got one pressie) and used the rest of the money we would have spent to support our favourite charities. Steve refers to it as our chain of third world lavs! We had everything from lavs in Africa, to worms to help agriculture, to my nephew (at Sandhurst)'s contribution to a Forces charity. At the family lunch he threatened to bring a homeless ex serviceman called Bob to lunch this year.... Actually I think we had just as much fun and a nice warm glow thinking we had actually done something as a family for other families not so lucky.

So - here is your virtual e-greeting from us. Happy Xmas. *hugs*
