Yep, I hear you. I think I'm getting a bit numb to it though, I watched in a sort of daze of resigned horror. Also, I have a horrible suspicion what that sword which seems to be the obnoxious Dr. Magwilde's obsession is supposed to be, particularly considering the context of what I sincerely hope will be the last ever episode.

If it is so bad why watch it?
Something edifying is on tonight. The history of Saddam Hussein and family in drama.

I don't know, but for some reason I like watching really bad stuff, and it is strangely gripping. I've taken to treating it more like a sci-fi/fantasy/horror thriller than a fact-based drama, which helps a bit. And Dolly makes me laugh.
