Usually barefoot, until winter comes and I bring out the hardcore Scottish socks. This does tend to result in unpleasantness from the kitchen floor getting stuck to my toes.

Bare feet all summer, socks at the moment, and slippers when it's really cold.

Barefoot in the summer, slippers in the winter. My toes get cold when it's cold outside.

Flipflops. I'd go barefoot, but then there's too many skelfs from the worn wooden floorboards and sometimes sharp bits of cat litter gravel to step on.

Barefoot in summer, thin socks in fall, thick socks in winter, back to thin socks in spring. I have poor circulation in my feet and hands but it doesn't really bother me until the weather cools off. I tell people all the time that my toes freeze over around Halloween and thaw out around Easter.

Hahah, sounds much like me. I've been announcing that I know it's winter this week cos I've broken out the thermal socks! (2 pairs of socks = happiness)

Oh yes...I rememeber getting the e-mail. It may be that I *thought* I replied but didn't actually. Bad me!

I think I should be able to meet up, especially if it's around lunchtime or in the evening. I'd really like to! Things are a bit chaotic atm PhDwise but if there's something not to expensive that I can drop in on for a couple of hours I'd be game.

I basically just obey inertia when it comes to indoor footwear - whatever I'm wearing already, I'll tend to keep wearing until it becomes actively inconvenient (e.g. I need to go outside / have a bath)
