Today I wore my new red and black wraparound pants all day.

It seems the red dye is the kind that leaches out even when the fabric is dry.

Now my knickers are pink.

But thankfully, it hasn't done anything to the blanket on my sofa. If I still lived at my old house (white sofa, argh) it would be rather more problematic.

I think I will be washing those trousers on their own...

Hehe, in my time I've owned countless black or purple gothish garments where the dye has come off on my skin; ah the memories of undressing after a night out in a warm pub or club to find my nekkid self looking either clarty or cyanotic...

Putting salt in the wash - a tablespoonfull or more - usually helps fix the dye, or at least stops it running.

I hear adding a cup of vinegar to the rinse water will work too. Maybe try both that and the salt.
