Today I purchased undergarments, and some of them are pretty, and all of them fit.

I also baked a cake, which is currently cooling on the rack. The plan is honey cake (hopefully it'll be moist - kind of made up the recipe a bit as the really good recipe is in a book at dad's house) with orange and spice buttercream, so kind of wintery-flavour.

Last night was fun as we went to the fun pub in Rochester after work, and something about the ambience there means everyone tends to stay late. Highly enjoyable socialisation, good company, nice beer.

Got another paper in press, which is nice.

Am wondering how long it takes to replace dodgy guttering, given that the workmen have had scaffolding up for about 3 weeks now and there have been almost no signs of activity.

Not really a fan of this cold weather, but I suppose I can't really argue with it, what with it being winter and all. We might get a light sprinkling of snow tonight, and probably a heavier one on Tuesday. We'll see!

Bought new Doc Martens to replace old ones, currently breaking them in at work gradually.

As you may have surmised, life is currently quiet but eminently pleasant all things considered. :)

Debenhams, surprisingly - turns out their 32As are snug but not unbearable and are thus a reasonable fit, and they have pretty much all their pretty bras in 32A. Took a little bit of faffing to find ones where the straps connected to the cups in an appropriate place for my anatomy, but I'm generally satisfied. They're not ridiculously raunchy this time around, but at least I have somewhere to start for next time when I look for something naughtier!

You'd have laughed yesterday. Recently I picked up some new boxers and socks for the other half and he said he'd have to do the same so that I had something at his. I joked that I should be there when he was picking out stuff. Last night he decided he should do the picking out. I nearly died laughing as he wandered around the lingerie section going "I don't know what to get and what the differences are with all the different kinds. Help!"
