enismirdalUnsquee! Antisquee! The tape player thingy just chewed up my Boyzone: Said and Done tape!!
I liked that tape!
It switched off right in the middle of Father and Son, and when I pressed 'play' again, the song finished off with Ronan singing in a chipmunk voice!!
Now all the tape stuff has gone spaghetti-like and is everywhere. I'm going to wind it back in and see what happens.
EDIT: Had to snip out mangled bit. Sticking 2 cut ends of tape back together is harder than it looks. Have discovered you can't melt them together (results in burnt fingers and funny-coloured teaspoons - don't ask!), and am dubious about effectiveness of Pritt Stick under the circumstances. Suspect I may have lost a large chunk of music from 1-2 songs.

Date: 5 Apr 2004 14:57 (UTC)I was actually half expecting someone to go, "Ha-ha!" and claim it was the Gods punishing me for my bad tastes in music.
I'm hoping that since the album is 1995 or something, it'll probably be available for next to nothing from one of those bargain music stores.
