I have nothing to say. I'm just making an entry anyway. I'm sure there's some draconic logic in there somewhere.
Recent blood donation has had no ill effects - no bruising, despite my having taken off the plaster 5 hours early.

Holiday essay from my adorable Physiology supervisor, to be e-mailed or posted to him before Christmas. He's really nice, and knows everything. But he gets totally freaked out by my sense of humour (which alternates between the morbid and the downright scatological). He's also possibly the only person I've ever met who gets unbelievably excited about ion channels.

They were fine, really nice as usual. It was a trainee who put the needle in, but he'd done plenty of people before, so it was no problem. And for once, the blood didn't almost stop coming out (I think it's cos I'm quite small - my blood seems to come out dead slowly sometimes). They like me, cos I'm O negative, so I'm a universal donor.
