That's it. I give up. I doubt I'll be asleep before 2am.

Afternoon naps are a bit like sweets. They totally spoil your appetite for the proper healthy stuff.

They need to implant some islands in the Atlantic precisely 2 time zones west of here. That way there'll be people keeping exactly the same hours as me.

Aaah, well. At least the 9am lecture I was expecting has turned out to be next week instead. On the other hand, some surveyor chap will be sticking his nose in my room at some point tomorrow morning, to do with these proposed refurbishments to Bull building. I'm contemplating whether to leave the gorgeous pics by Nellas that I printed off up on my walls, or take them down. I mean, the pictures have a very important revision function - they contain the TCA cycle and glycolysis all neatly drawn out around the illustrations in the middle.

Parents coming to visit in Sunday - yay! They've offered to take me out for a meal - double yay!

*^_^* ::giggles:: May I ask which pics you used for your revision? And is it helping at all? Because if I had my stuff drawn on something I like, I would rather look at the piccie in the middle than at the rest of the stuff. ::grins::
Oh, and if you leave them up, I'd be all too tempted to see his face!!!

Glad, though, that my drawings are used as educational material, more than just as fantasies to drool over - I shall offer to make illustrations for my microbiology book then, if it works for you... ::snickers::

And I'd be interested to move to those islands, so drop me a line if you have news on them, k? ^_^

Yours, Nellas

Well, the pictures in question would be Melting into your Embrace (http://www.hithanaur.net/nellas/images/slash/embrace.jpg) and Claiming You (http://www.hithanaur.net/nellas/images/slash/claiming.jpg). I wasn't going to do things by halves, now, was I? I did indeed find them very useful last term for exams, as they provided motivation to look at the horrible biochemical pathways.

You should most certainly go into illustrating textbooks - although if you ever did our Physiology textbooks, our sex-obsessed lecturer (think 60 year old man talking about 'effect of sex on beard growth in man') would have a field day and we'd never hear the end of it. "A naked elf sitting quietly at 32 degrees C (sticks up Glorfindel picture) does not need to do anything to maintain his body temperature. However, should that same elf start to participate in strenuous physical exercise (cue that lovely Glorfindel/Ecthelion I recall seeing...) his core temperature will rapidly rise and he will start to sweat."

ROFL! ^__^
Just had to picture that in my mind, and I guess I would remember anything but the darn pathways. *g*

*snicker* But imagine the sales of those books! I'd be rich! I could draw all day and not be bothered to actually work! *sighs*
As for your lecturer, well, there's apparently no age to stop being horny... Ever suggested he'd have a peek at your, err, revision aids?! ^_~ And may I mention that I just loved your demonstration of his lectures... *ggg*

Good way to start the day! :oD I might be in the mood to actually illustrate some of [livejournal.com profile] ilye_elf's new story, or finish the illustrations for [livejournal.com profile] morgana_avalon's "Switch". Depending on what inspires my muses... Or I could post something on my LJ and work on an update. So many possibilities, so little time. Because actually, I should be doing something for my microbiology test next week. *snork*

I think they are mot useful revision aids... who would look atthe citric acid cycle with them in the middle of it?

Go for it... leave them all up... and shall lend you my camera to persue the noble aim of shocking surveyors!
