Eni goes digital
2 May 2004 22:47They brought me a digital camera!
This is great, and enables me to take naffnaff photos all around, of me, my room, people, views of Cambridge... Which would be even better if:
Aside from these minor setbacks - I have a new toy!! Yay!
We went out for a lovely dinner at the Thai restaurant (near the Granta, for those to whom the description is meaningful), and talked about things, which was fun, and ate Dim Sun, which was also fun. And I brought furry cloak #1 with me, eliciting from a passing cyclist the comment, "It's not Halloween!" My parents have decided I look very elfy. Or very gothy. Possibly both. In which case I would be a goth elf, like Erestor. Which would be cool, but sadly not true, for alas! I am neither goth nor elf.
I also know where ErestorSwan has gone. She's relocated to the mill pond thing by the Granta to avoid the tourists. Yay! Now I can feed her again!

- The software on my computer wasn't so generally evil, and actually allowed me to put the photos on my computer, instead of denying the existence of the camera connected to my USB port even after my dad spent over an hour fiddling with it and installing alll the drivers, etc.
- My computer was fast and intelligent enough to allow me to load web FTP and keep my website up to date.
