enismirdalAlso, being polite is not always good.
I attempted to close a door gently today, as it was one of those evil ones that slam back hard otherwise (and I didn't really want to flatten anyone's nose), and succeeded in trapping my little finger in it quite hard. It bled lots and is sore, but looks kind of cool cos a load of skin is missing.

Date: 15 May 2004 13:12 (UTC)It's not too bad actually. My fingernail seems to be a pinkish colour still. The main problem is that the scab has attached itself to my fingernail, so it all feels kind of tight, which is a bit weird.
Luckily it's my little finger on my left hand, which I hardly even use for typing, let alone writing, so it's no great problem.
