My life is rated R.
What is your life rated?
Interestingly, I could skew it to R or NC17 depending on my answer to the last question. NC17 makes me sound like I'm all bad or something, so R suits me fine *grins*
Internet access from my bedroom is currently intermittent and unreliable; it's definitely dependent on my brother's computer being switched on, but he's in denial about this, despite my having demonstrated it to him. Since we only have MSN downstairs, and my parents monopolise the main computer, until my brother can be persuaded to fix whatever he's done, I'm not going to be on IM as much as I'd like, espcially MSN, AIM and ICQ.
I was on the gorgeous Dillon (also spelled Dylan). Discovering that two girth-straps on his saddle had broken, I had to complain. It's just not safe when there's only a single leather strap holding the saddle on. So there was a dodgy moment when the yard manager was trying to think of another horse as skinny as Dillon who wasn't be ridden and therefore whose saddle I could borrow.
Eventually Dillon ended up wearing Blue's (a pony) saddle, William's (a large horse) saddle pad, and his own numnah and girth. It all seemed to work OK. The lesson was excellent. We went into the back field, which, being a field, was rather lumpy, so I'm somewhat bruised. We did a whole course of jumps (well, a short course - 7 jumps). Apparently I was going really slowly, but it felt fast to me. I actually jump confidently on Dillon, because he's so laid-back and reliable (read 'easy'). If it goes wrong, I know it's my poor riding, and I can trust him not to try anything stupid. One of the other horses, a jittery youngster, was throwing a tantrum by a jump just a few yards away from where Dillon was standing, and he just stood there eating the grass. <3 <3 Dillon :D
Quote of the year, from my mother: "You're very likely to get HIV, and when you do, don't go blaming us."
My parents still seem to have some odd delusions going, mostly about what a bisexual is/does.
