Right, now I want your HONEST opinion. I don't mind whether you're on my friends list or not, whether I even know who you are.

I make no secret of the fact that I have appalling colour co-ordination. Recent comments have led me to believe that my journal may be a slightly...lurid...colour. So I want to know what you guys think. Feel free to comment as you wish. I want to know, and believe me, telling me it's ghastly won't make me annoyed or upset, as you may well be right. I'm not going to get offended, whatever you say. So...

It can sometimes be a little bit hard to read things, because the text colour and the background colour aren't contrasting enough. But it's not too garish IYSWIM...

It doesn't actually matter to me since I read everyone's LJ's via my friends page anyway. I have bad eyesight and need high contrast (ie dark text on pastel background, or white text on dark background) but on LJ it doesn't really matter that much.

It's pretty garish, but I couldn't imagine you any other way :) I don't find it difficult to read.

It's pretty but a bit bright if I had to read it a lot it may be a bit hard on my eyes. It's you that has to look at it all the time, though. If it works for you then it's not a problem.

I am going to be ruder than all of them. Cos you now it is only me, and I don't mean to be nasty! You colour scheme is awful! Please for all our sanities (if that word can have a plural...) make it less... well pink!

You know those moments where me and Avvie despair....

Well I think you should keep your purle as you are terribly fond of it. Why not make the rest of it a bit less bright. It is also very hard to read the blue on purple on the links

Dear Eni,

I'm not a 'purple person' myself but I think you should keept it as it is if you like it that way and never mind what other people say about your taste in colour.

If they annoy you too much you can always quote Coco Chanel (more or less so): "It's better to have bad taste than no taste at all."

*hugs* and viva purple!

I don't mind what colour you have your LJ, except you make it use your style and not my default style when I read your comments. I'd suggest having it whatever colour you want, but making it so that if I just read the comments from my friends page it comes up in nice sane decent LJ legible!

You can actually tell LJ to do this for you; under Personal Information, you can tick 'View comment pages in your journal style?' and it will use *your* style rather than the style of the person whose entry it is.

Yes, but there are some people with less aggressive (sorry, Eni, I don't really mind it unless it's early in the morning!) colour schemes whose comments pages are actually quite funky.

Ah, but I like it! My duvet cover is almost exactly that shade of purple on one side and a wee bit more garish than the shade of pink I use for my journal on the other. I think it's safe to say that I like garish. I mostly read on friend's pages anyway.

It's a bit pink, but....
