- Have been recently engaged in some interesting discussion of This Hope. For those who actually care but who aren't on Erestor group, it seems that some people want a sequel to This Hope, which is already a possible sequel to This Silence by Ezra's Persian Kitty. I was reluctant to write more, already feeling like some cheeky pretender, so I e-mailed Ezra's and asked what she thought.
The conclusion seems to be that Ezra's does not intend to write anything further in the 'series' (if 2 fics can be called that), and I personally wouldn't unless someone told me exactly what to write and how to write it. It's been an...interesting...discussion, but I think the ultimate outcome for Glorfindel and Erestor is best left to the minds of the readers. Hmm...I don't want to know what I wrote in my post to Erestor group at 1:30am this morning on the subject; I'm sure it fell short of coherence by a looooong way.

- I'm officially addicted to EOAS games. Oh dear! My highscore on the Drop Dead Gorgeous Elf Game is 66. Which isn't very good, but I'm proud of it!
- Have been researching laptops somewhat, with Avvie's help, and decided all are good, but some are better. Prices, however, are encouraging.
- Well done to all MPA nominees so far! Go you!
- I think the LJ mood icons sets come with far too many icons to describe various states of being unhappy and not nearly enough to describe states of being happy. If I had any talent at all, I'd make some more happy ones, but alas, my skills fall short.

Date: 19 Jul 2004 18:20 (UTC)LOL Oh well. I'm hoping to have a new fic finished by the time you get back. Those pairings we were talking about on my LJ have set off a bunny or two. Thranduil and Haldir...they just won't leave me alone. I'm supposed to be working. But noooooo they just won't go away. Nothing written yet, just alot of flashes going through my head. *sigh* Sure am glad my boss is not around to see me in this state.

I know the feeling - work...or fic?...work...or fic? At the moment, the answer seems to be a sigh and then, work. Meh. ('Work' being anything that is not fic, lol)
