Dog Wizard
10 August 2004 15:38Well, I wrote this post earlier today, but then 1. ADSL died and 2. my computer crashed and took 4 reboots to get going again and by that time, the post was well and truly lost. So...
Yesterday, my copy of Dog Wizard arrived. This was a book I've been wanting extremely very much for absolutely ages, but is damned hard to get hold of. Finally managed to find a place via Amazon.co.uk that would ship it in from the US and cost me less than £44. Seemingly, it's not too hard to get across the pond, but by God, it's elusive here!
So it arrived, in perfectly readable condition (well, the dustjacket is missing, but what the hey), and a hardcover to boot. Am muchly pleased. Cost me £10-ish. Took forever to arrive, of course, but never mind - I have Teh Book!
So I'm pleased, rather a lot. *recommends Windrose Chronicles to anyone after a good read*

Date: 10 Aug 2004 16:33 (UTC)Oh, I read the first 2 books after borrowing from a local library. They're The Silent Tower and The Silicon Mage. The trouble with them is that they're all out of print now. But I think the first 2 are reasonably available.
