Today I decided that I was going to walk to Brick Lane, since everyone told me it was really good there, and I wanted to buy Nice Things, and they're supposed to have a good Sunday market.
Embarrassingly, I utterly failed to find Brick Lane, but did accidentally walk to the Tower of London.
Oh well, maybe next time!
I also discovered that the area around Fenchurch Street has more coffee shops than I knew it was possible to fit into such a small area. These, I believe, are to exploit the businesspeople who come out of the offices all around there at lunchtime.
As a result of my escapade, I have failed to buy mooli radish. But never mind.
I gave up on navigation once I hit the Tower of London, and got the Tube back to Whitechapel, stopping in at Sainsbury's and spending far too much (especially if our fridge is about to be taken).
I miss having time and bunnies for fic writing. Brain, come back please. I want you to give me Elves!
